Faster GPUs need faster connections. What Marvell's new AI chips promise and which risks investors should watch.
Marvell introduced the Alaska E 3.2T retimer and the second-generation Alaska A 1.6T AEC DSP on October 13, 2026. The company says both products are sampling with customers. Sampling does not establish mass-production revenue. Marvell reported $2.739 billion of revenue in fiscal Q2 2027, up 37% year over year, with data-center revenue growth of 46%. Those results are from the existing business, not the newly introduced products. Investors should watch customer qualification, shipment volumes, competition and margins.
